The Good News Must Be Good News

I Do Not Want You to Spend Another Year Standing at the Door

You know what you were saved from. But can you honestly say that you know what you were saved for?

Perhaps you love God deeply. You pray, attend church, serve faithfully, and sincerely believe the gospel. Yet somewhere beneath it all, a quiet question keeps returning:

Is this really all there is?

If you have ever asked that question, I want you to know something. You are not faithless, ungrateful, or spiritually deficient. You may simply have been told how to enter through the door without ever being shown the life waiting for you on the other side.

I wrote The Good News Must Be Good News because I do not want you to remain at the threshold of the life Christ opened for you.

The gospel is not merely the announcement that your sins can be forgiven and that you can go to heaven when you die. That is gloriously true, but it is not the whole message. Jesus did not save you merely from something. He saved you for something.

I want to walk with you through the whole house of salvation, room by room. Together, we will return to God’s original purpose for humanity and explore four questions that touch every human heart:

Who am I?

Why am I here?

What went wrong?

What can be done about it?

As you read, you will discover that your identity is deeper than your failures, your purpose is greater than religious activity, and your ordinary life matters far more than you may have imagined. You will see how the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Christ restore what humanity lost and open the way into a life of meaning, fruitfulness, wholeness, and spiritual maturity.

This book is not asking you to work harder to earn God’s love. It is inviting you to awaken to the life that has already been opened before you.

You were not created merely to survive, keep busy, and wait for heaven. You were made in God’s image, entrusted with meaningful purpose, and called to express His goodness within the part of the world placed in your hands.

Please, do not spend another year wondering whether there should be more.

There is more.

The door was essential, but the door was never the whole point.

Step inside. Discover the life you were created for. Find out what you were saved for.
